THE LINKS PROJECT
Local Integrated Networking for Kids with Special Needs

The Local Integrated Networking for Kids with Special Needs (LINKS) project is funded by the Boeing Company. This project aims to expand quality services, access, and opportunities for children with special needs in and around Chiang Mai including rural schools. LINKS promotes empowering partners; committed caregiver groups, communities, government and non-government organizations through sharing and cooperation.

 

A variety of activities are provided for the target groups; training both on theory and practical skills, sharing methodology and equipment, and monitoring children’s progress.

 

Success of the LINKS project is possible due to collaboration with therapists from Sansai District Hospital, officials with Sansai Luang municipality, Community Health Volunteers, Primary Education Region 2 administrators, and representatives of multiple non-governmental organizations.
